Hi, I’m Tina.

I’m the designer and maker at Tina Welsch Jewelry. I make contemporary sterling silver jewelry from my home studio in Pennsylvania.

I grew up in Germany where I spent a lot of my free time traveling and exploring new places. When I moved to the US 12 years ago, I needed a creative outlet and started making jewelry which has quickly turned into one of my biggest passions.

Now, as a stay at home mom with two small kids, my studio has become my sanctuary where I recharge and try to bring to life all the design ideas floating around in my head.

As a self-taught designer and maker, i continuously experiment with new techniques and designs which is reflected in every piece I make. I get my inspiration from my every day life- the delicate flower I notice on a walk, a certain shape of my kids’ building blocks or a unique pattern in a book.

Every piece is handcrafted in my home studio in Pennsylvania- from the first sketch to the final polish.

I strive to make jewelry that is modern and versatile, timeless and unique.

I work with 960 sterling silver metal clay as well as 925 sterling silver wire and sheet. To learn more about my materials, click the link below.

Thank you for being here and for supporting my small business. I make a little happy dance when I get orders and I still can’t believe that my jewelry has made it to 6 countries and is worn in over 30 states.

My process

Each design begins as a drawing on paper. Then I get to work at the bench. All of my pieces are hand fabricated by cutting sheet metal, soldering wire or shaping and firing clay. Every piece is brushed to a matte finish.

My work is not machine-made perfect and that’s the beauty of it. Because each piece is individually handcrafted, no two are ever exactly the same.
